I’m sorry for any trouble that may have been caused.  Virgin Media aims
for the highest standards of customer satisfaction and is disappointed
when these are not met.

I understand you are unhappy as you have recently transferred your
services to your new address, you have stated that your services are now
£2.50 more expensive and you have not been given an explanation why.

I am sorry you have had this experience and that you have had to take
your time to email Virgin Media. I have looked at your account and can
see that you currently have the maximum discount available for your
services. It is possible that when you transferred your services the
discount you had previously is no longer available.

I am sorry if you feel you have been misinformed but Virgin Media is
unable to reduce the cost of your services any further. I have also
checked the notes on your account and it states you were advised of the
new cost of your services at their current price and that you were
entering a new 12 month contract.

If we look at the uncertainty of  the financial market ,it does make sense to buy the tickets using the credit card.The most of airline/agents charge 5 pounds service card for using the credit card.This fee can be negotiated with the local travel agent(if they quote same price) and i got the charge reduced to zero with primetravels.com over the phone.I made the point that i can get quidco discount too (quoting the price from ebooker),so if you don’t want to waive the charge means that I’m going to buy the ticket from the ebooker.
The credit card booking offers lot of advantages than using the credit card when it comes to the consumer protection laws.

I have noticed that some books can be purchased from the non-eu booksellers at fraction of cost in comparison to the UK prices.Some of these publishers even offer postal facility worldwide.abebooks.co.uk and select the cheapest option in terms of price or select the country as India ,etc.

The cheaper air ticket to india seems a mirage after looking at the prices on the UK websites.The Zuji Australia website is offering some tickets at throughaway prices.Unbelievable to some ,but it is true as i have got my own ticket for 235 gbp including tax.The tickets are available from most of the UK Airport and are non-cancellable & non-refundable.The tickets are also available at bit higher price from travelocity usa and northwest airlines websites.

Retention offers (mobile phone contracts)

The cash backs are risky at the moment and i have decided to refrain from any new cashback contracts until june 2009.That’s why i have opted for the retention deal with my network(O2-UK) for 20 pounds a month (600minutes+unlimited landline calls +nokia 6300).This deal is not that excellent but still no doubt ,it is the safest option in the current market scenario.

Refurbished camera

I have purchased a new refurbished camera from kodak shop .The camera has got excellent features(10x optical zoom) which really tempted me to order it straight away .

The normal rates are not bad at all and this service might be better in quality then betamax voip.This another player may encourage comeptition in this market and as a result average rates of betamax/finarea telecom may stay below 2.5 euro cents.

I have just got my pin number in email and can confirm that i can use any land or mobile phone to make a call to india unlike the rebtel trial offer.
